Each from-price includes the diagnostic and the labor. Parts are priced separately — openly, on the same written quote — because a $14 fuse and a $180 control board have no business hiding inside one 'flat' number. And no ceilings, since honest ones don't exist: your machine gets its own exact figure before we start.

How a Clara bill is built

The $91 diagnostic pays for a real answer: what failed, what part it needs, whether fixing it is even wise. Approve the quote and the $91 is already inside the from-price — decline it, and it's all you owe.

The written quote shows two clean lines: the from-price (diagnostic + labor + retest) and the part at its real cost. Then the $25 coupon comes off the total at completion. No trip fees, no hourly meter, no 'shop supplies' invented at the kitchen table.

Say "CLARA25" when you book, or use the form — it's attached automatically.

Comes off the repair total. Doesn't apply to the $91 diagnostic (which already goes toward the repair). One per visit, not stackable.

Money questions

Asked about the numbers.

Why 'from' prices instead of exact menus?

Because the same symptom can hide a $15 part or a $150 part, and flat menus solve that by overcharging the easy jobs. Our floors are real — simple repairs genuinely land on them — and your exact figure is written down after diagnosis, before work, with the coupon still to come off.

Does the $25 coupon apply to the diagnostic?

No — and that's deliberate, not fine print. The $91 diagnostic already converts into credit toward your repair, so discounting it would be double-counting. The coupon works on the repair total, where it's real money off real work, one per visit.

Can the written quote change mid-repair?

Not for the fault it covers. If we uncover a genuinely separate second problem, you get a separate written number and a free choice — the original quote stands untouched either way. Bills that grow after the handshake are exactly what Clara was set up against.

When and how do I pay?

Once, at completion, after the machine is tested in front of you — card, cash or check. Special-order parts for premium models occasionally ask for a deposit, and the quote says so plainly when they do.
